If you’re Māori and enrolling for the first time, you get an extra choice: General Roll or the Māori Roll? Choose the Māori Roll and you’ll be represented by the MP for your Māori Electorate. Choose the General Roll and you’ll be represented by the MP for your General Electorate. Your party vote counts just the same, so you get just as much say in who gets to run the country.

Good question. You’re at Uni in the big smoke, but you still go home at breaks to your parent’s place in Palookaville. Ask yourself, which place do you feel a part of?  Use that address.  But let us know if you move, so we can keep your details up to date. 

Here's a tip - You can put in a different mailing address too, so maybe use a relative's who's less likely to be moving around a bit, and that way we'll stay in touch easier?!

• Freephone 0800 36 76 56.
• Pick up one from a PostShop.

Make sure you send your form back to us or it won’t count.

Easy.  Get enrolled, and keep your enrolment up to date if you move or your mailing address changes. 

Getting enrolled is easy. Just fill in an enrolment form and you’re done. You can send in your form any time after your 17^th birthday.
